CONCEPT: NOTHING IN EXCESS

The concept of Nothing in Excess comes from Meden Agan. An ancient Greek phrase inscribed on the Temple of Apollo in Delphi. For the Greeks, excess in any form (whether physical, emotional or mental) was considered the root of imbalance. The antidote was finding your perfect measure.

For LIRA, this philosophy directly challenges modern fitness
culture, which constantly demands more (more reps, more intensity, more effort). LIRA offers the opposite. A space where the goal is not to push beyond your limits, but to find your natural balance
and train within it.
The lyre belongs to Apollo — god of harmony, balance and the sacred inscription at Delphi: Nothing in Excess. The instrument itself embodies this philosophy: a string tuned too tight snaps, a string tuned too loose produces no sound, but a string tuned exactly right resonates perfectly. Drawn by hand and organic in form
