Batch is a residential branding and brochure project for ZIG Property — an Australian architecture firm specialising in converting historic landmarks into contemporary living spaces. The brief called for a concept-driven property brochure for Batch, a new residential development built on the site of the iconic Balfour's Bakery in Adelaide, established in 1853.
CONCEPT: A BATCH OF STORIES
The concept, 'A Batch of Stories', draws on the layered history of the site, from batches of bread baked in 1853 to batches of memories shared in its tea rooms. The chair serves as a recurring visual motif, tracing the progression of design from past to present, while the editorial layout treats each photograph as a self-contained moment, grouped together like items fresh from the oven.
